The first federal center for the development of equestrian sports in Russia is due to be opened following the signing of a memorandum by the FEI, the sports ministry and the Russian Equestrian Federation.
The memorandum was signed on Thursday by Federation Equestre Internationale President Princess Haya Bint al Hussein, Minister of Sports Vitaly Mutko and REF President Dmitry Titov. The signing ceremony was held after Mutko met with the heads of international federations of sports at the Russia Is A Sport Power forum.
The head of FEI mentioned the importance of the memorandum saying that “Russia made a major contribution to the development of equestrian sports”.
