Seven killed by storms in northern Russia

At least 7 people were killed and 14 others injured after strong winds swept through the Leningrad region in northern Russia, emergencies officials said on Friday.
Earlier reports said 3 people had been killed during Thursday's storms. It is feared the death toll may rise further.
Strong winds struck much of the Leningrad region on Thursday night, causing electricity blackouts and traffic problems.
The weather shows no sign of abating, with heavy rains and strong winds due to strike the west of the region on Friday night, meteorologists say.
