Fake cop takes medical marijuana plants

FLINT, Mich., Aug. 30 (UPI) -- Police in Michigan said a man posing as an officer took a gun, $500 and 12 cannabis plants from the home of a medical marijuana user.

Flint police said the victim told them the man, described as about 65-years-old, and two men who appeared to be about 19-years-old arrived at his home in two cars about 2 p.m. Friday and initially asked to see a woman who does not live in the home, The Flint Journal reported Monday.

The victim closed the door, but the older man knocked again and identified himself as a police officer. The three men came inside the home and the victim told the suspect he had a gun. The suspect confiscated the gun and $500 cash. UPI
