Victims identified in deadly California gas explosion

San Bruno, California (CNN) -- A mother and her 13-year-old daughter were among the four people killed in a massive gas-fueled blaze that destroyed part of a California neighborhood, officials said.
The intensely hot fire triggered by a ruptured natural gas transmission line sent giant fireballs shooting 80 feet into the air in a quiet neighborhood of San Bruno, near the San Francisco airport.
By Friday, firefighters had fully contained the blaze, but federal and state investigators had not determined what caused the blast.
Jacqueline Greig, 44, and her 13-year-old daughter Janessa were among the dead, San Mateo County Deputy Coroner Michelle Rippy said. A third victim has been identified as Jessica Morales, 20.
Federal authorities began investigating the incident Friday.
