Easter messages delivered by Wales' churches

Church leaders across Wales are delivering their Easter messages.
The Archbishop of Wales will say the proof God exists can be found in "resurrection moments" like parents forgiving their child's killers.
While the Union of Welsh Independent churches is expected to speak about the "pointless and wasteful war in Afghanistan".
The Presbyterian Church of Wales will say "the world has a right to expect solid leadership" from Christians.
In his Easter message to the Church in Wales, Dr Barry Morgan said Christians can be a model for the "living reality" of Christ's resurrection.
But belief in God needed trust, risk and a leap of faith similar to catching a plane or falling in love, he said.
He delivers his sermon at Llandaff Cathedral on Easter Sunday.
He is to say: "Without a degree of faith and trust, no one would fall in love, neither would any of us catch a plane or go for an operation or allow our children to walk to school.
"All these are undertaken in trust and contain an element of risk. Belief in God, faith, is very similar".
Faith can transform lives, he said.
The Reverend Dewi Myrddin Hughes of the Union of Welsh Independents said: "The story of Easter combines two events: A cruel death, followed by incredible hope for a new life.
"Cruelty and death dominate the news headlines; the pointless and wasteful war in Afghanistan shortly entering its ninth year, while other stories of personal tragedy and human suffering abound.
"But the Easter story reminds us constantly that God, through Jesus Christ, is with us in our suffering; he understands our human condition with compassion.
"The good news of Easter is that God offers us hope, strength and vision - as individuals and as a nation, so much in need of hope and comfort".
The Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Wales, the Reverend Gwenda Richards said: "If I were to ask people on the street today 'have you seen Jesus Christ?' they'd think I'd totally lost the plot!
"And yet I have a real experience of Christ's presence with me since my childhood. He was a constant presence with us as a family at home, and through prayer and meditation I can say I've spent much time in his company.
"The world has a right to expect solid leadership from Jesus Christ's church and the right too to see it reach the highest standard in services. So as we celebrate Easter this year, let us declare with joy that we have seen the Lord. And who is to say that the world won't believe us?"
