The husband of a murdered North Yorkshire postmistress has said he is lost without her.
Diana Garbutt, 40, was killed in the upstairs living area of the shop and post office in Melsonby, near Richmond, on 23 March.
Her husband Robin said: "The past week has been extremely difficult and traumatic for me, Di was my life and I am lost without her".
Police said forensic tests and searches at the post office were continuing.
Mr Garbutt, 44, found his wife after an armed robbery.
He had been working in the downstairs shop from 0430 GMT when the robber entered from the living quarters at about 0830 GMT and stole cash from the safe before fleeing.
Det Supt Lewis Raw said: "Police remain at the post office today and are expected to continue forensic examination and searches over the Easter weekend.
"House-to-house enquiries will also continue.
"The investigation is very complex and will take some time to complete all avenues of investigation.
"We again express our thanks to the residents of Melsonby for their patience and understanding".
The robber is described as 5ft 11in (1.7m) to 6ft (1.8m) tall. He was wearing a black balaclava, a dark blue, long-sleeved T-shirt and dark blue or black jeans.
