President Girma Woldegiorgis received and held talks with Federal Transitional Government (TFG) of Somalia Speaker, Sheik Aden Mohammed Nur here on Wednesday at the National Palace.
President Girma told the Speaker that the terrorist groups operating in Somalia have become a threat not only to Somalia but to the Horn of African region as whole. Thus, he said, Ethiopia and Somalia should work together to prevent the subversive activities of the terrorist groups operating in Somalia.
He also assured the speaker that Ethiopia would continue cooperating with the international community until the political problem in Somalia is resolved.
The TFG Speaker briefed President Girma on the overall situations existing in the country.
The speaker also spoke of the threat posed by the terrorist forces operating in Somalia.
