Police have questioned a man as tributes flow in for a young woman brutally murdered in Brisbane's south.
Bianca Girven died in hospital after she was assaulted on Mt Gravatt Outlook Drive in Mt Gravatt around midnight (AEST) on Tuesday.
Police have questioned a man over the 22-year-old's death, but no charges have been laid.
Community organisation Micah Projects said Ms Girven was actively involved in a group for young mothers.
"Bianca Girven was a vibrant young woman, full of spirit and energy. She was actively involved in the community and passionate about addressing issues affecting young women and young parenting woman," the group's coordinator Karyn Walsh said in a statement.
"She will be greatly missed by her peers involved in the Young Mothers for Young Women network and other community organisations.
"She was a wonderful mother, a loyal and caring friend and a beautiful person both inside and out".
Ms Girven leaves behind a baby boy.
Police are appealing to members of the public or the driver of a white van seen in the area at the time of the attack, to contact them.
