APA-Addis Ababa (Ethiopia) Ethiopian Prime Minister Meles Zenawi has on Wednesday sent a congratulatory message to David Cameron, the new Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
Meles in his message expressed his delight on behalf of the government and people of Ethiopia to Cameron’s appointment.
Meles expressed his confidence that the existing relations between the two countries will be further bolstered.
UK is one of Ethiopia’s oldest development partners, which is investing annually over 100 million dollars development support to Ethiopia.
Ethiopia will hold its own national elections on 23 May 2010.
