An Indonesian man sentenced to 8 years for harbouring terrorist fugitives

JAKARTA, Indonesia — An Indonesian court sentenced an Islamist militant Monday to eight years in prison for helping fugitive suspects in last year's bombings at two hotels in the capital.
Aris Susanto was found guilty by the South Jakarta District Court of violating the anti-terrorism laws by assisting Saefudin Zuhri and Ibrohim, two main suspects in the suicide bombings on the Marriott and Ritz Carlton hotels in Jakarta.
The 32-year-old Susanto was also found guilty of assisting Noordin Top, a Malaysian suspected as terrorist mastermind, sometime before the attacks.
