Investment in joint Russian-Turkish projects to top $25 bln


Russia and Turkey plan to attract over $25 billion in investment for joint projects, agreed by the leaders of the two states on Wednesday, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said.

Medvedev visited Ankara on Wednesday to sign numerous agreements, including a deal on the construction of Turkey's first nuclear power plant near the Mediterranean port of Mersin.

"Overall investments... we plan to amass as a result of the signed deals exceed $25 billion," Dmitry Medvedev said.
