Keep off Afghanistan, Qaida threatens Harry

LONDON: Al-Qaida has threatened to abduct UK’s Prince Harry if he dares to fly a helicopter in Afghanistan.

People who support the Osama bin Laden-led terror group have posted the warnings on a known al-Qaida Arabic website, Daily Express reported on Sunday.

Harry, 25, was presented with his pilot’s “wings” by his father Prince Charles on Friday and has been selected for Apache training. “Wouldn’t it be sweeeeeeeet if the mujahideen could capture that pig!,” a person wrote on the website.

Another said: “It would be wonderful if we could capture this bastard alive after shooting down his Apache”.

The internet forum was one of the first to issue a video in which a spokesman for the Pakistan Taliban claimed responsibility for the attempted car bombing of Times Square in New York.
