San Jose police are searching for a man who opened fire this morning in the area of the Tropicana Shopping Center at Story and King roads on the city's East Side and fled on foot.
Police are searching the surrounding neighborhood and have placed two schools, Dorsa and Hubbard elementary schools, on lockdown, police spokesman Jose Garcia said.
Police first received reports of the shooting at 8:27 a.m. Police have not identified any shooting victims and are still interviewing witnesses, Garcia said. Link
