Today it was revealed that the pair jetted off to blissful Tanzania for a summer break after months of speculation that they are more than ‘just friends’.
And now it looks as though the rumours were true and Cheryl has finally found a new man after her split from love cheat ex-husband Ashley Cole.
Today book-makers William Hill have given 3/1 odds that Derek, who is said to be ‘totally in love’ with the singer by his father Aaron Nelson, will propose to Cheryl by the end of this year.
These close-than-ever odds come as it was also revealed that the bookies are giving 3/1 odds that Derek will be joining Strictly Come Dancing this year in order to stay close to Cheryl, who will be regaining her position as a judge on X Factor.
