China to allow Tibetans to travel in Taiwan in July: Liberty Times

The ruling Kuomintang spokesman Su Jun-pin today noted that China’s decision to allow residents from western provinces including Tibet to travel in Taiwan should be welcomed by all stripes of Taiwan people regardless of districts and ideologies can be expected in response to, according to local media reports.


The Cross-Strait Tourism Exchange Association (CTEA), a China-based organization, announced yesterday that from July 18, 2010, China government will open the quota to travel in Taiwan to Tibet, Quinhai and Xinjiang, the third tier in a series of opening plans.
