ALL of Australia's 300 special forces soldiers in Afghanistan are being drug tested after a young commando was found unconscious from a suspected overdose.
The soldier was discovered on Friday following a function for troops who had returned to their base at Tarin Kowt from an extended operation against the Taliban in southern Afghanistan.
The episode has raised concerns about the pressure on special forces soldiers who have borne the brunt of fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan. The soldier was on his third deployment to Afghanistan.
