A 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of India early Sunday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
A local tsunami watch has been issued for all areas of the Indian Ocean, including India, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Thailand and Malaysia, the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said.
