Explosions damage Railway-Track

NAWAB SHAH: Three consecutive explosions damaged the Railway Tracks between Ghotki Railway station and Sirhari Railway station however luckily no casualty was reported in the blasts.

According to details explosive were planted on the Down and Up Railway tracks near Ghotki Railway station but luckily the detonated material exploded minutes before the arrival of Awami express and Super Express at Sirhari Railway station.

Railway officials and Railway police reaching on the scene immediately initiated the repair of the damaged railway track, while owing to damages of railway tracks railway traffic flow from Karachi to interior parts of the country was suspended for consecutive hours, and Awami Express, Super Express and Hazara Express were stopped on their nearest stations to avert any sort untoward incident.

SP Railway Police Chaudry Muzaffar talking to a private TV channel also informed that the intensity of the three blasts was low that partially damaged the railway tracks adding that similar low intensity crackers were also planted near railway tracks in Khairpur, Sangar and Ghotki, however any casualty ha snot been learnt owing to these blasts.

A private TV channel also disclosed that Jiay-e-Sindh Liberation Movement has accepted the responsibility of the three blasts by leaving a pamphlet near the office of that TV channel.
