Six people in two different cars were killed when their vehicles were hit by a truck in Semarang on Sunday.
The dead victims were identified as Khaerul Saleh, Istiqomah, Abi, Ica, and Joko Wasid and Endang Sri Sulistyowati. Their remains were brought to Kariadi Hospital.
Truck driver Jumadi, motorcyclist Supra Sujono, Joko's daughters Swastika Satyanidewi, and Aulia Rahma were injured and being treated at local hospitals.
Local police blamed brake failure for the accident.
