Uganda People's Congress has condemned the on-going disarmament exercise in Karamoja.
The party says the exercise is violating civilians human rights.
Uganda Peoples Congress claims that ever since the exercise started, many Karimajong complained of loss of their live-stocks which has been in UPDF custody.
The President of UPC, Olara Otunnu says that while on a visit to the Karamoja region, the people told him of the their losses and that they have faced with many human abuses like rape and castration.
Otunnu also says that the government is lying to the public about rehabilitation process in the region because there are no activities going on like have reported.
