Victim dies after rescuers kept away at knifepoint

A WOMAN died last night from injuries after a man believed to be her partner stabbed her and blew up their car at a Bayswater petrol station yesterday.
Witnesses spoke of their terror as the man held them at bay with a knife while screaming that the woman should burn.
The woman, 42, died last night at The Alfred hospital after sustaining burns to most of her body and stab wounds.
