Whitney Houston croons audience away

A once-proud star has hit rock bottom by all accounts after her disappointing concert at the city’s Forum venue
‘Embarrassing’ and ‘pathetic’ were just a few of the choice words both reviewers and the paying public had for Whitney Houston’s performance last night at Copenhagen’s Forum concert hall.
According to B.T. newspaper, around 200 of the audience members had walked out of the show after 40 minutes.
Reviewers from all of the major media outlets blasted the concert, saying the former top-drawing singer’s voice was far from what made her a star. Not only did she not sing well, but at one point she told the audience they ‘pissed her off’ by booing her during a speech about recently-deceased star Michael Jackson.

Jan Have Eriksen - the reviewer from B.T. – described this speech as ‘mystifying’ and said he had never seen so many people leave a concert before.
‘As a performer she’s ready to expire,’ he said. ‘Damn, was it pathetic’.
Thomas Soie Hansen, Berlingske Tidende newspaper’s critic, gave the concert zero stars.
‘She looked and sounded like a person who doesn’t have many years left to live,’ he wrote in his review. ‘At the end of the show she looked like she was ready to explode’.
