FEILDING, New Zealand, July 26 (UPI) -- Two small airplanes on training flights collided in New Zealand Monday, killing two people in one of them, authorities said.
The Dominion Post in Wellington reported one plane crashed into a farm field near Feilding. A flying instructor, described as a woman in her late 20s, and a student in her late 50s died, the newspaper said.
The woman piloting the other aircraft, a flight training student, managed to land at Taonui Airfield.
