Attestation sought for 105 forged certificates


UAE embassies in different countries and cultural attaches of Arab and foreign embassies to the UAE have notified the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research about 105 forged certificates submitted to them to obtain attestation, according to local Arabic daily Al Khaleej.
On the other hand, Saif Rashid Al Mazroui, CEO for Institution and Support Services, said that the Certificate Equation Committee of the ministry has discovered six forged certificates were submitted to the ministry, claiming to have been issued by Arab, British, American and Cyprus universities.
 
He stressed that the ministry checks the authenticity of each certificate via different facilities. Forgery will be discovered either at UAE embassies, embassies to the UAE, or while attempting to get equation or through work institutions,” he warned.
