A suicide bomber blew himself up in Iraqi capital on Wednesday killing at least 28 and injuring 62, Al Jazeera reported.
The blast occurred in a crowd of Shia pilgrims heading for a shrine in northern Baghdad.
Al Jazeera quoted local police as saying the terrorist attack took place in a Sunni part of the city near a bridge where about 1,000 Shia pilgrims died in 2005 in a panic sparked by rumors of a bomb.
