LILLOOET, British Columbia, July 27 (UPI) -- Dozens of firefighters Tuesday were fighting the out-of-control Jade wildfire near Lillooet, British Columbia, officials said.
The fire, which has burned more than 1,650 since being ignited by a lightning strike last week, was only about 15 percent contained, the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. reported.
About 85 people in 30 homes were under an evacuation alert, the CBC said.
