A lady doctor working in the paediatric care wing of Al Wasl Hospital has been sacked for causing the death of a 11-year-old Emarati girl.
The Director General of the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) issued the sacking order against the doctor on the grounds of medical negligence.
The action against the Arab doctor was taken after she was found to be responsible for the death.
The decision was taken after an investigation by two committees, one of which was formed by the DHA.
The medical file of the victim was reviewed and the committees also noted down testimonials of the medical treating staff.
