QUEENSLAND police have arrested a gunman who was on the loose for three days.
The 32-year-old man from Caboolture, north of Brisbane, was arrested at noon yesterday and taken into custody without incident, police said.
He allegedly crashed a stolen motorbike into a parked ute at Caboolture on Thursday. When witnesses tried to help him, he produced a gun and forced the occupants of a passing car out of their vehicle, commandeered it and drove away.
Detective Senior Sergeant Mick Gibbon said the man was arrested after hiding at the home of an associate. Police are yet to lay charges.
