India not prepared to talk, Pakistan says

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan, July 16 (UPI) -- There are no obstacles to peaceful talks with India, though a delegation visiting Islamabad was not prepared for dialogue, the Pakistani foreign minister said.

Indian External Affairs Minister Somanahalli Mallaiah Krishna arrived in Islamabad this week carrying what he described as "a message of peace and friendship".

Pakistani Foreign Minister Mehmood Qureshi said he was frustrated that talks seemed to go nowhere, accusing the Indian delegation of being "not mentally prepared to engage in a dialogue," he was quoted by Pakistani newspaper The Nation as saying.
