SHAH ALAM, July 12 (Bernama) -- Kuang assemblyman Abdul Shukor Idrus was suspended for one day by the Selangor State Assembly after he continued to argue with speaker Teng Chang Kim after a motion tabled by him was rejected.
Abdul Shukor argued with Teng for over 15 minutes after his motion calling for the state assembly to debate on sand mining activities in Selangor was turned down.
"Which Standing Order allows Your Honourable to stand and debate on this?" asked Teng.
