Man shot dead in Chinatown eatery

A man is dead after a shooting inside a Chinatown restaurant.
Toronto Police said the city's latest murder happened just after 3 a.m. Saturday inside Excellent Cantonese Seafood on Spadina Ave.
Sgt. Dan Madill of 52 Division said cops found one male victim inside the restaurant but so far, no arrests have been made.
Homicide investigators were at the scene Saturday interviewing witnesses and appealing for anyone who may have been in the restaurant at the time of the shooting to come forward.
Police said the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Before the shooting, the man was in the restaurant with other people, police said.
Investigators have yet to release a description of the shooter.
An autopsy will be performed on the city's 28th homicide victim of the year on Sunday.
