A Moscow commission charged with countering attempts to falsify the history of World War Two will hold a contest for a new nationwide history textbook, a city official said on Thursday.
"We went into the issues concerning the national and foreign historiography, the historiography of the Baltic States as well as the Ukraine's western regions by focusing on the history textbooks for comprehensive schools," the head of Moscow's southeastern district and the commission, Vladimir Zotov said.
