Russia to accept only good quality Moldovan wine exports - Russian official

Russia's ban on Moldovan wine imports will not extend to good quality batches, Russia's chief sanitary official said.
"The process is ongoing. There will not be a complete ban, just a control [on imports]," Gennady Onishchenko said. "Bad wine will be sent back to Moldova, and good wine will be sold in Russia's shops," he said.
Onishchenko said that talks with Moldova had been halted because the ex-Soviet state had stopped controlling its production standards.
