MIASS, Russia, Aug. 30 (UPI) -- About 150 men with clubs and guns loaded with rubber bullets attacked spectators at a Russian rock festival, injuring at least 30 people, officials said.
Witnesses described the attackers as "skinheads".
Two people remained hospitalized Monday, a day after the attack at the Tornado-2010 rock fest in Miass in the Ural Mountains, RIA Novosti reported.
"There was enough security and there were enough police. Their task was to ensure order and they were not prepared for an armed attack," festival organizer Valikhan Turgumbayev said. "Initially there were 70 security guards and police, as well as 20 (security) volunteers at the festival".
Police reinforcements were called and the situation was brought under control within 15 minutes of their arrival, Turgumbayev said. UPI
