(CNN) -- Luis Fabiano has penned a new two-year deal with Sevilla to end speculation he was set to leave the La Liga club.
The Brazil international striker has been a target for a number of Europe's leading clubs, with Premier League Tottenham Hotspur the front runners.
But the 29-year-old has pledged his future to Sevilla, despite their shock exit to Portugal's Braga in Champions League qualifying earlier this month.
"My first objective is to continue scoring goals and after that be in the Champions League next season and win a title, which is very nice," he told the official club website. CNN
