Moscow leads world list on most expensive hotels - research

Moscow leads the list of the most expensive hotel rates on an average per day cost, beating out New York, Paris and Hong Kong, according to research by Britain's Hogg Robinson Group.
The average rate per day in Moscow hotels from January through June was $408, according to the research.
Geneva took the second place in the list with an average room rate of $316.36, followed by Hong Kong at $313.98 per day.
Topping off the five most expensive hotel rates in the list were Paris ($313.21) and New York ($308.45).
Other cities mentioned in Hogg Robinson Group's list were Washington, D.C., Zurich, Abu Dhabi, Stockholm and Oslo. RIA Novosti
