COLUMBUS, Ohio, Aug. 18 (UPI) -- U.S. President Barack Obama discusses the economy and makes two fundraising speeches Wednesday, the White House said.
In the morning, Obama will meet with a family in Columbus then hold a discussion on the economy with families from the area, the daily itinerary indicates.
Later, Obama will speak at a reception for Gov. Ted Strickland, locked in a close race for re-election with Republican John Kasich.
In the afternoon, the President will travel to Miami, where he will speak at a reception for the Florida Democratic Party.
Obama's travels are part of a five-state swing to tout his policies and raise money for Democratic candidates. UPI
