Python found in Ohio park

NORTH ROYALTON, Ohio, Aug. 30 (UPI) -- Visitors to an Ohio park said they were shocked to discover a 6-to-7-foot python sunning itself in a picnic area.

Witnesses said they contacted park rangers at Mill Stream Run Reservation in North Royalton after they spotted the snake Sunday and the rangers were able to capture it, WJW-TV, Cleveland, reported Monday.

"What concerned me the most was if you look out here there are hundreds of people out here and lots of mothers with little children that are 2- or 3-years-old. I don't know what they would do when they came upon it," park visitor Sandra Bauer said. UPI
