LORRACH, Germany, Sept. 20 (UPI) -- A house explosion followed by a woman's shooting spree in a nearby hospital Sunday left five dead in southern Germany, including the shooter, authorities said.
Police said they found a woman and a girl dead in the residence in Lorrach and two people were killed St. Elisabethen-Krankenhaus hospital, Sky News reported. The woman died in a confrontation with police, the British TV newscaster said.
Local broadcaster SWR reported the woman fired several shots before dieing in a gunfight with police, Sky News said.
