Democracy is an indispensable condition for Russia's development, President Dmitry Medvedev said on Friday.
Democratic development is key to the development of Russia's economic and political system, Medvedev said at the Global Policy Forum.
"Democracy is developing and this is natural," he said.
Medvedev said democracy in Russia today is in a better state than it was five years ago.
