Islamabad, Pakistan (CNN) -- A pair of drone attacks killed 14 suspected militants in Pakistan's tribal region on Wednesday, intelligence officials told CNN.
Two Pakistani intelligence officials said two missiles were fired on a suspected militant's vehicle in the area of Angoor Ada of North Waziristan, one of the seven districts of Pakistan's tribal region bordering Afghanistan. The attack killed four people.
The intelligence officials asked not be named because they were not authorized to talk to media.
In an earlier strike, 10 suspected militants died, the officials said. Two missiles fired by a suspected U.S. drone targeted a militant's hideout in the village of Danday Darpakhel, also in North Waziristan.
While the United States is the only country in the region known to have the ability to launch missiles from drones - which are controlled remotely - U.S. officials normally do not comment on suspected drone strikes.
