LOS ANGELES, Sept. 8 (UPI) -- Authorities are trying to find out who placed a bomb threat message on a plane that landed at Los Angeles International Airport Tuesday night, the FBI says.
The threatening message was found scrawled on a lavatory mirror on Thai Airways flight 794 from Bangkok, the Los Angeles Times reported Wednesday.
After the plane landed safely, officials sent it to a remote area of the airport where it was met by police, bomb technicians and canine units.
Laura Eimiller of the FBI's Los Angeles office told CNN a thorough search of the aircraft, luggage and cargo found no evidence of a bomb.
