(CNN) -- Authorities on Wednesday were looking for the person who left a message on a plane lavatory mirror indicating a bomb was on board.
The threatening message was found scrawled on a Thai Airways flight en route from Bangkok to Los Angeles.
Flight 794 landed landed safely at Los Angeles International Airport shortly before 9 p.m. Tuesday (12 a.m. ET Wednesday). It was taken to a remote area where it was met by police, the Transportation Security Administration said.
"Investigators who conducted a thorough search of the aircraft, luggage and cargo, found no evidence to suggest a credible threat to the aircraft existed," said Laura Eimiller of the FBI's Los Angeles office.
No arrests have been made.
