Gardai are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the N17, Tuam to Galway Road, in the early hours of Sunday morning.
A car collided with a male pedestrian in his 50’s shortly after 4.30am. The pedestrian received fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car did not require hospital treatment.
