BUENOS AIRES, Sept. 1 (UPI) -- A Japanese-Argentine couple took top honors in the stage dancing division of the Eighth World Tango Championships in Buenos Aires.
Chizuko Kuwamoto and Diego Ortega were crowned the winners Tuesday, while another Japanese-Argentine couple -- Naoko Tsutsumizaki and Cristian Lopez -- placed third in both stage and salon dancing, Kyodo reported.
This year's competition featured 405 pairs from 18 countries.
