No smoking in Saudi airports from Sunday

Saudi Arabia will start enforcing a ban on smoking at its airports on Sunday and warned offenders would be fined SR200, local newspapers said on Friday.
The ban will take effect at Jeddah’s King Abdul Aziz International Airport and will be enforced at other airports in the Gulf Kingdom gradually, they said.
“The ban, which was approved by the Cabinet in June, covers all public areas at the Kingdom’s international and domestic airports,” Okaz daily said.
King Abdul Aziz Airport officials warned that anyone caught smoking, including airport staff, will be fined SR200.
“Notices have been placed inside the buildings to ensure that no visitor to the airport remains uninformed".
