A Seattle teenager accused of being the "Barefoot Bandit" has pleaded not guilty to a series of charges linked to an alleged cross-country crime spree.
Authorities say 19-year-old Colton Harris-Moore stole aircraft, boats and cars as he made his way across multiple states.
The charges against him include interstate transportation of stolen aircraft.
Four of the counts carry maximum sentences of 10 years in prison.
He is accused of repeatedly breaking into empty holiday homes, taking food, stealing electronic items and even using stolen credit cards to get deliveries of items essential for surviving in the woods.
Dubbed the "Barefoot Bandit", he is thought to have carried out many of his alleged offences without shoes.
His exploits, and his alleged repeated thefts of aircrafts - which he managed to fly and crash-land, despite never having had a flying lesson - earned him an large online following.
The FBI placed a $10,000 bounty on his head and said he should be considered "armed and dangerous".
He is alleged to have begun the spree after absconding from a halfway house in his hometown of Seattle in April 2008.
Since then, he is suspected of crimes in Washington state, Oregon, Idaho, Indiana, Nebraska, and parts of Canada.
He was arrested some four months ago on a stolen boat in the Bahamas.
