9 killed in suicide blasts at Iraq government compound, ministry says

Baghdad (CNN) -- At least nine people, including four police officers, were killed Monday when a pair of explosions hit a government compound in western Iraq's Anbar province Monday morning, the interior ministry said.
The compound in the provincial capital of Ramadi houses government office and the police headquarters. It was first targeted by a suicide bomber in a car -- followed 10 minutes later by a bomber wearing an explosives-packed vest, the ministry said.
In addition to the fatalities, at least 40 others were wounded in the suicide attack, the ministry said.
The same compound was targeted in a suicide car bombing on December 12. At least 11 people died in that attack; 41 others were wounded. CNN
