Hundreds held over Spartak Moscow ethnic riots

At least 700 people have been arrested in central Moscow in an attempt to prevent further ethnic clashes over the shooting of a football fan, police say.
Dozens more were reportedly detained in other Russian cities.
The death of Moscow Spartak fan Yegor Sviridov last week, allegedly in a fight with men from the North Caucasus, has prompted unrest and some attacks targeting members of ethnic minorities.
On Saturday thousands of people clashed with police outside the Kremlin. BBC News
