Man wants 'octomom' to pay $450,000

LA HABRA, Calif., Dec. 27 (UPI) -- A mother of 14 known as "Octomom" has been given until Friday to make a $450,000 balloon payment or leave her California home, the mortage-holder said.

Amer Haddadin said he sent a letter to Nadya Suleman and her attorney, Jeff Czech, telling the mother she will be evicted if the payment isn't made, The Orange County (Calif.) Register reported.

"I demand the balloon payment by the end of the month," Haddadin said in the letter. "If I don't get it, I will pursue legal action".

Suleman gave birth to octuplets in January 2009. The Suleman octuplets are only the second full set of octuplets to be born alive in the United States.

Haddadin previously threatened to kick Suleman out of the house, but the mortgage-holder, at that time, agreed to a six-month extension, the newspaper said.

"It's just a nightmare for me," Haddadin said. "There is no reason for her to stay in the house if she can't pay for it. She doesn't own the house even if she has the deed. The loan is in my name. She cannot ruin my credibility for this mess".

Haddadin said Suleman has paid the monthly rent of $4,600 for November and December.

In September Suleman held a yard sale and raised $2,600. Among the items she sold was an autographed bikini she wore in a photo shoot. In October, a fetish Web site reportedly offered her $20,000 to be videotaped getting her hair washed and getting tickled. UPI
